IMHO you couldn't go past a Trak Shak - and they're a South Oz product.

Sorry - mine's not for sale, but there was one for sale on Pradopoint recently and they crop up on Fleabay every so often.

We lay out the groundsheet first - gives you a good idea of the floor space available.

Flip the rack up out of the way.

It can lock in the raise position, or (if you have a tinnie attached) can be lowered all the way to the ground and locked in position.

Open the lid. There's 2 queen sized beds in there - already made up.

    Adjust the 2 outer legs.

The annex has got 2 handles sewn in.

    Grab them and walk away.

    Voila !

    Walk inside.

Put up 2 internal poles - all the rest are already sewn in place.

Add 2 or 3 poles for the annex.

... and your home away from home is ready to go.

You can also enclose the annex with mesh or solid (canvas) walls.

Ours has been quite happy to follow everywhere we went. I love it.

    Cheers

        Hey Chippy,

Is there much storage in the lower part (away from water and dust)?

            Hiya G'man

There is a rack on the inside of the front tailgate that carries 2 x Waeco 35 L fridge / freezers and has room for a generator. The kitchen hangs of the inside of the back tailgate and has 3 storage crates and a 2 burner gas cooker. It also has fold out legs so you can unhook the kitchen and move it away from the camper to a nice shady tree somewhere.

The space in between hold 5 storage crates for all of your food and utensils. The is also space left over for your clothes bags or a fold up table and a couple of chairs. Your 2 x queens sized beds are left made up (complete with pillows) so storage for bedding is not an issue.

... and in all of those Kms we never got a drop of water or any dust inside the storage area or inside the tent storage clamshell.

            Cheers
            Chippy

Glad it worked out well for you on the big trip.

Looks good and mighty usable. Love the dual queen beds.

You've got quite a photo database there mate. How about a few photos of Claudia Schiffer in the shower...

                    Maaate

The piccy database runs around 2,500 images at the moment and it takes a bit of organising to be able to find stuff when I need it - but it's fun 8)

As for the other pics - well, we do have to keep in mind Pradopoints PG 13+ rating :?

                    Cheers

                      Hey Matt,

Are you going to the Penrith show next week? Should be a lot of campers on display to prod and poke at.

The other one we had a lot of time for was the O'Briens CT

Great storage. Best drawer and kitchen setup. But it all came down to the most important consideration for a family of 5 - SPACE.

                        Cheers

Our main issue is storage space - we never travel light.

You guys need to work a bit harder ...

My Minister (yes Boss !) wants a Sat Nav, a GPS , a reverse camera, a lift kit, a Trek Table and a TJM sump guard (I slightly bent the old one ops: )
