  • What time do we have our first drink

I started this thread to see if I have a problem normally the morning after I set up camp and every morning until i leave I will make a coffee and add a dash of normally Kaluha at about 6.00am then another about 7.30am and crack the first stubby at about 11.00am.Is this normal or am I just a one off ? I am not suggesting that I take control of the Prado after a bevy when I set up camp I stay there sit back and relax maybe go for a hike or a fish .

Lunch time is about the earliest I have an Alco bev, but that is usually only if i'm at the pub or camping on the beach, if i'm camping in the bush and i'm going to do some 4B-ing, I wont have one till around 4pm, otherwise it is either water or soft drinks.

Whilst camping? I've picked 4pm because I'm usually too busy exploring/4x4ing throughout the day, and I prefer not to mix the two.

You mean as soon as you hit the Qantas club, irrespective of time

When camping, nothing wrong with a light beer with lunch, then the next one is when we get back to camp. If stationary for a day or two then whenever it gets hot enough. Qld beautiful one day perfect the next (thats for a cold beer)

See ya on the tracks, Richo.

Easter camping in the pouring rain, 9am and we werent the only camp site doing this.

When I was doing shift work, the early opener at 7:30am on a Friday morning happened a few times as it was the end of our week.

Good surf, good snow, 4wding, much later in the day.

On a work day, we have often discussed the pub would be much more fun at .........
