I just dont like the idea of being charged to enter - I understand that there are costs involved in setting up stores hiring of the display area but on a buyers point I see it as paying to enter some ones shop - there are also cost involved in rent setting up displays overheads etc in any shop and do they charge an admission ?

Yes, but they're offering pretty big discounts in some cases so they want to keep overheads to a minimum.

I agree though, it's a bit sh!t having to pay.

Fishy, pay the entry. Get the discounts. Even if you don't buy anything it is still a day out looking at stuff that interests you.

You only live once and the currency is no good in Prado heaven.

I agree with MLC - its about the only way I get the wife along to look at and approve 4WD gear I have my eye on... Plus, it beats driving around to various stores comparing products - so long as the weather is nice, which it is forecast to be.

... and someone else fiills their heads with why YOU MUST have that modification/extra bit/upgrade. Makes life soooo much easier when the salesman does the sell and you just nod your head in agreeance and say, yep, i read that, yep a guy on PP didnt do that and now he is suffering, etc etc, you get the jist.
