  • Washing tips ?

I have found that getting other people to do it for me works best... :P

How does that broom brush go. I have not found one that is soft enough to use on the paint work with out scratching.

I use the same broom - and it's the first one I've ever found that is soft enough.

Good to know what products really work. It can be very daunting to try and find the right stuff for the job.

It's find it is easier (albeit, more expensive) to take it to a "trusted" detailer (I use the term loosely... :? ) at the moment with level 6 or 7 (I've lost count) water restrictions.

If only it could rain and I could go back to the good old days of washing my own car!!!

          I agree

And now with the water restrictions I have an excuss to get someone else to wash it
I tried the 'Handwash Cafe' at Toowong yesterday... great job and only $35 inside and out.

I will go back to washing it myself when the water restrictions end... if they ever do that is
I doubt I'll ever find a place that cleans it as well as you clean your own car.
          Cheers, Leon

I've always washed my own car - however, ever since the water restrictions I've gotten lazy and doubt I'll ever go back to washing again.

The local touchless car wash charges fifteen bucks and whilst it isn't great, given the five minutes effort in involves in just sitting thru it, it'll have to do....

Are you referring to the ladies over at Bowen Hills that wash your car in only slightly more than their birthday suits

In the interests of thoroughness, I think we'll need to see some pics.

Get a couple of Micro fibre cloths to use with the speed detailer.
Just spray and use a little elbow grease.
