  • 1997 Prado Fuel Filter Location

    Hi guys,

I have a 1997 Prado 3.4 Petrol V6, and have bought a fuel filter to replace as part of my attempt to resolve some fuel supply issues causing my vehicle to occasionally STOP.

I have attempted to find the location online but have confusing info and no definitive answer as to where the fuel filter is actually located, and whether there is only 1 or multiple filters.

    Can anyone assist me please.:-(

It is under the passenger seat. If you crawl under the car you will see a plastic splash guard that needs to be removed to get access to the fuel filter.

Hey williade ... thanks for your quick reply. I anticipated that it would not be in the engine bay so thanks for providing the exact location.

      Much appreciated
