  • Original Seat material

Hi all. I had the misfortune that when I removed my rear seats (not the small dickey seats) from my 07 120 and stored them a mouse decided to devour a small amount of the upholstery (about 4cmx3cm) on the single seat. I hunted round various wreckers and purchased a rather grubby replacement that I assumed was the same colour. After many hours of toil and getting the seat to look like new I found that the seat material was a shade lighter. The Prado is Gold (4R4) and has the light beige coloured upholstery. This light coloured upholstery evidently came with two slightly differing shades of material around the "basket weave" centers.
Does anyone know where I can purchase any of the matching material or perhaps a second hand seat?

    Cheers
PS If anyone would like the lighter coloured seat they are welcome to it.

It's going to take some effort but try and find a auto trimmer that specialises in aftermarket leather. They "may" have the seat covers that were taken off when leather was fitted. I have a spare set of grey covers (except headrests) for the 120.

Yes it does not sound hopeful. I now remember that I have the small folding seats from the rear stored in Tassie that I will never use now as I have a cargo barrier and draws so I will take some material from them. Thanks for your help.
Still have the other seat that I may take to the tip if no one wants it.
