  • Suspension / tyre setup for 90 series decisions decisions

    Pp

    Am looking ATM to put a hd Lovell/ bilstein combo in have also thought hd kings bilstein also as I have arb steel winch bar dual batt and prob winch down the track I think hd and tow a tone ct often enough

    And tyres looking at either bfg at or Mickey t atz 4s ATM

    Have had Lovell / bilstein combo before in a paj and also ran big at before happy with it last time

    Any opinion or experience here would be great for the prado s

    Hey mate, I have the lovells/bilstien combo on my 95 series as do alot of other ppl on here.
    I also run the micky t atz 4 ribs your looking at. Good combo IMO, the suspension is smooth as and im pretty happy with it. The front struts also have a 3 stage height adjustment (circlip) so you can put it up a notch once you get the winch in.

        I put in King/Billy combo. The Kings are raised but not H. As most of the k's traveled in the Prado are, unfortunately, blacktop :evil:
        The ride is very comfortable day to day and when we hit the dirt back in October was very happy with the set up. If we end up with a trailer or often have weight in the back then i will put in airbags. The 'H' springs would probably be too harsh for the Toorak Tractor
        Our 6 year old and 3 year old try their hardest to make sure there is no time or money for the other baby
