  • In the deep end with SWMBO

So got back from a great week down at Beachport with Adam (ondaboat) and family, only to find out that somewhere during the trip I lost my wedding ring, no no it wasnt on purpose trust me.
Yes I am now feeling the affects of losing said ring if you know what I mean. I said after 12 years I think I have done pretty good for managing to keep it for so long.... oops I think I just put a few more logs on the fire hahahahaha.

Anyway if by some miracle anyone finds a white gold wedding band down there do let me know.

Oh and here is a nice pic of Adam

My darling one misplaced her engagement ring and watch (which was 1st anniversary present) she was devastated and harder on herself than you could imagine. After nearly a week, i found them amongst the nappies where a little one had 'posted' them. And this was after searching through the rubbish bin  After i found them she was veeeery happy with me

I lost mine in the surf at Greenhill (near Cape Palmerston) some 5 years ago or so. We had it replaced just this week (cost over twice the original price too - damn those Gold prices have skyrocketed!).

You should volunteer to go back, searching. And not come home until you find it...

Mate, I tried looking for it on the beaches. I used my tyres to turn the sand over, I used my maxtrax to dig for you, hell I even got the shovel out a few times, but alas all I found was my tyres, bash plates and exhaust system and my sore back (wasn't looking for the sore back) after a lot of digging.

Can I suggest you tie a "location strap" like the maxtrax ones, makes the job of finding a lot easier

Just tell her this - you wouldn't have lost the ring if you weren't wearing it - wouldn't it be worse if you never wore it?

You could always offer to watch your wedding video?

Women NEVER, EVER forget OR forgive. She's just waiting until she can use it as ammunition. You wait, you'll argue about something petty and then *BAM* out comes the old, 'just like the time you lost your wedding ring' comment. I swear I have searched high and low for SWMBO's 'little book of wrongs' in order to burn it but alas, it has not been discovered. Damn her good memory.....

Next step is to see how much a replacement will be, not looking forward to that one

And so it is written, so it shall be told from Man to son and he to his son and so on for all time.

I'm sure when I read the bible as a young lad, that a similar verse was contained in the old testament, except there is no book kept by them. The correct interpretation of that part is often mistaken. It reads " and she shalt not forgeteth for all time and so shall she useth thy sin for all time untoith you die. And God looked down on man and said, hahaha sucketh shitith thy poorest bastard.

For all buddists, muslims, and other religions the same shiteth applies but references should be discussed with elders etc.
