Hope you catch the prick/s and give them a flogging they wont forget. low life pieces oxygen thieving pricks, Funny I have stayed at Dubbo when we went to the Zoo I unscrewed the light and took the bulbs with me and kept inside the motel with us as last time we stayed in Dubbo they broke into my statesman so I wasnt taking any chances, Thats the only issue with these lightforce I dont like is as you have found out they can remoce the reflector and globe leaving you with just the bits mounted to the bullbar. Id be ringing lightforce see who the supplier is in your area or near by, then ring the supplier up and tell them your story, leave your phone number and ask them to contact you if some one enquires or orders them in, ask them if the person orders them when do they intend to come and pick them up and so on, Id then be waiting for them either with some big hefty friends or mybe try and organise for the cops to be there as well ?? Probably a bit hard to get the cops there at the exact time, Only issue is maybe they wernt local although I doubt it, probably dont have the money to pay for fuel to fill up there VN commodore they bought on the dole for $500 !!!!!!!!. Flog the shit out of them, people like this get me so wound up to think they have the right to flog some one elses stuff, low life pieces of shit.....Cheers Steve PS Shame your so far from me, Id love to be there with you !!!!!!!!!!!

well if i replace with lightforce again not sure yet, i will look into welding round bar top and bottom around front of bull bar to stop thieves unscrewing lights?

what are you're thoughts on writing on the front reflector with a uv pen , name , number ?
could work what do you think?

Dont think it would matter, wont change the light beam ?? I have no idea, but is worth finding out, Great idea but and if it doesnt affect beam output on the road you may even right a small message across the bottom to "F%&# off and leave my light alone"" wonder if they would still take them. I wouldnt be game to display them thats for sure but then these low life oxygen wasting low life scummy thieves probably wouldnt give sh#t...........Cheers Steve

A used car dealerships every Monday morning the sales staff scout the cars in the lot first thing to see what was stolen or damaged. 4wds are a big target with people unbolting spotlights underneath the bullbar and taking the entire units minus the wiring which they'd cut or rip out by hand. They'd get them replaced with cheap spotlights a day or two later to cover up the holes in order to make the car look attractive to a buyer still.

Yeah Peril I reckon it might be the way to go although I did have IPF's and they were solid and had anti theft locknuts under neath and were never taken, cant say wether anyone tried but certainly would have been hard for them to remove thats for sure, the other way I have seen is drilling hole through the thread underneath and put a small lock through them. Its a shame we have to do all this to stop the low life scum who walk the streets and our driveways at night looking for stuff to flog that that they wouldnt have worked a day in their lifes to actually go and buy them selves. An ex mate of mine told me he had flogged 2 sets of lights (HID's to) off a 4wd as well as syphoned (spelling) the fuel tanks, explains now why he's an ex friend, told him to f#%& off and havnt spoken to him since. Shame I didnt know whos 4wd it was or I would have given him the option to return the lights and some $$ for the amount of diesel taken then would have told him to f#%* off. I wont have any one coming into my house thats a thief, cant stand it.......Cheers Steve

Very sorry for your pain feeling Monty234, hope you get anything good news. We all know that Lightforce with HID are very attractive.

Just IMO, if you have a set of XGT 240 with security lock nuts, your chance of losing the reflector should be very small. Because we all know that XGT 240 will not have any kind of mechanism to remove the front reflector out of the housing. All parts were merged from manufacture by heat. Only 4 small screws behind XGT 240 to get into the light's housing from the back cover (which normally hard to get this position). And if we put something like a little soft glue on all of those screws and fill up the holes where the screws going in, no one will think of removing the light out of your car for wasting time. Soft glue is a good thing to stop/or delay the process of stealing those lights quite a long time - of course, this will also get you longer time to remove it when you need, but at least it will do the job.

This good thing does not have in the model Genesis 210, which already has 4 big hexagon style screws on the back, easy to remove the front part and inside part out of the light's housing in less than 5 minutes.
