4x4 Clubs in the NT

Have moved back to God's own country (Darwin), only this time I have a forby.

I am interested in joining a 4x4 club to access local knowledge, driving/ maint tips and generally get a handle on my new obsession.

There are a few clubs up here, but am interested in your opinion (ONLY) if you have had dealings with these mobs.

Yeah....Nah, will be avoiding clubs associated with/recommended by old mate.

Recovery effort looked a little dodgey too.

None that I'm aware of mate. My mate and I own Prado's up here and we do a lot of fishing, huntin and stuff, but never really just driving, we are always on a mission to get somewhere. Not really into clubs but happy to share local knowledge and other info.

We have also recently moved to Darwin and as we have never lived here before have been thinking about joining a club. Have discovered a few good spots close by but there's nothing like local knowledge!

I'm sure you have found these but below are a couple of club sites I found, I haven't contacted any of them so no personal opinion yet.
