3 days on, the mobile site is good but the what's new button needs something changed, I e log on in the middle of day for one topic and then when u get on at night for a bigger look u have lost any posts from earlier in that day/ previous night! Maybe it should topics from the last login and or 24 hrs.
So what does all of this mean, people like me with over 3000 posts, I see less, miss threads and ultimately contribute less. Yes I also think the execution of the change could have been handled a lot better. Some people are talking a $1 per week which yes isn't much but try telling your wife that when u r selling your house!! Every dollar will count right now, I suppose for me know it is going to be a lesser PP experience until I pay for TT again!!!

To AJ120 (post #114) very well said and NTP certainly has some fair points.
What i don't understand is the amount of negativity this fee has caused. As has been mentioned a number of times, the fee is voluntary and the forum will operate as it always has. Except for TT users..... and i am sorry about that, apart from keeping it (TT) accessible to ALL users, i don't have another suggestion.
Until i pay, which i will once the credit card stops taking a hammering, water/council rates, rego, winch, e-locker (you know, the important stuff ) i will continue to log on for over an hour a night and read all the posts since my last visit and comment when i think i have something to add, useful or not.
Also people mentioned how the helpful hints and contacts have already saved 'more than' the fee. Personally, thanks to Dave and his contact at OL, i have already saved the fee by the discount being offered by OL St Marys (SA) to PP members.

I could go on, but what AJ120 wrote, if i could write that eloquently, is what i would have written Except wouldn't have started with 'i am a paid member' because i'm not........ yet

How do you access the mobile site?

Down in the bottom left hand side of the web page is a drop down box






From here drop down and select Default Mobile style and you're done




You can opt to choose go to Full site once you've set this which will take you back to the standard look.
