Personally I think it was a bad decision not to exhibit this year at the Brisbane 4x4 show. Most likely internal politics played a big part in the decision. It's a shame that all the local franchisee owners couldn't come together for the good of the brand name. (just my assumption on the whole thing (FWIW)

It is a pity when corporate politics interfere with the job of selling their quality products to customers wanting them. A 3 month wait for sliders? I am now looking at other brands.
See ya on the tracks, Richo.

If it's anything like the company I work for, it's making a sh*t load of money and has been for years and years, but doesn't exhibit at trade shows any more because the sales generated from them just aren't worth it. You lose a bucket load of sales & marketing staff for 4 days and have to pay a fortune for the floor space rented during the show. Then there's the nightmare of designing, ordering and piecing together your stand, setting it up and packing up the stand within tight time allocations and no room for error or delays. More and more companies in my industry are not exhibiting any more at trade shows, yet their profit is good and always has been. Plus the Exhibition Centre, RNA showgrounds and other venues charge more and more money to exhibit every year the greedy buggers, so our company along with others thought, "bugger them." We paid $120,000 for our floor space the last time we exhibited for our show so it's not cheap.Last edited by Brett1979; 23-03-2012, 10:36 PM.2005 120 series V6 Grande, 2 inch susp lift (King/EFS combo), 32 inch MT’s, Safari Snorkel, rear diff lock, breathers, Light Force spotlights, UHF, dual batteries.
