I went to the show today but didn't buy anything as the deals were a bit like Wow Sight & Sound's closing down sales (almost non-existent). The highlight of my day was standing 4 feet away from Roothy and listening to him talk to the called up people next in line to have a picture taken with him and to get his autograph. He's quite a funny bloke and full credit to him, late in the day when I was beginning to get tired myself from all the walking and standing around, he was still chirpy, and taking the time to get to know each person for a couple of minutes, answering their questions and cracking jokes. He's a very nice bloke. He was great with the kids and even let them hop inside of Milo. Plus Pat Callinan was there, one of the brothers from All 4 Adventures and Alan the mechanic from Roothy's DVD's who works for Terrain Tamer.2005 120 series V6 Grande, 2 inch susp lift (King/EFS combo), 32 inch MT’s, Safari Snorkel, rear diff lock, breathers, Light Force spotlights, UHF, dual batteries.Comment

We went along today looking for a snorkel and a radio amongst other things. Managed to land a Uniden UHF and 6.5db aerial for $300. After speaking to the ARB guys, it will work out cheaper for me to get accessories from them through my work. We got some ball park figures on some more serious looking tyres...Cooper ST Maxx here we come...just need to sell a kidney for a deposit.
Also stood a few feet away from Roothy and Milo and met Simon from 4WDTV and Jason from All4Adventure.

I was very impressed with Roothy as said he spoke to everybody on a personal level took the time to listen and was very friendly.

There's dozens of discount codes all get you in for $12. I used MR4X4 but I've since seen a few others since I got mine a few days ago. I'm taking tomorrow off to go and have a browse. Planning on an ARB fridge, some tents, cooking gear, sleeping bags, there's quite an extensive list now I'm looking at it. Might need to take a trailer. Plus dagwood dogs of course!Comment
