A lot of those guests would be existing members who have not logged in yet as well. Maybe checking who is online before they show themselves

I sometimes check out posts as a "Guest" rather than logging in because once logged in you reset the date & time for the "View posts since last visit" option.
A "View posts since last view" would be more useful, as I (and probably many others) don't always have the time to go through all recent posts each time I log-in - and lose this history if I do log-in
I generally just have a quick look at posts I have received email notification about. Another problem is that you have to log-in to view PMs and this then resets the last visit date.
Something to take up with Aaron maybe :?:

"I am a regular guest .......to check up on what fishnut is posting [ ] and doubt that I would log on cos I'm not a nerd (i.e. not IT literate...wouldn't know how to sign up!!!!)"
anyways - I (being the real fishnut) also read most of the posts without signing in and I am on here A LOT - It's not to hide, just don't bother to sign in unless I've got something to say.
hey ive been a "guest" for a month now , but now a member
So HELLO to everyone on the forum .
Im from south oz and have been looking for a prado 2003+ for under 40grand for 4 months now .... a 2003 GXL with under 100k on the clock for under 40grand does not exist in SA unless you are in the know ..... so i spent 4 hours at a dealer today fighting with 2 sales men and score a 2003 GX V6 with 70k on the clock for 27grand . The car is immaculate and all is sweet . (prob wont get it for another week as its salary packaged and requires a mountain of paperwork)
as far as the prado price in SA goes i reckon i got a good deal , and that was a toyota dealer too .
i have came to this wonderful country from ireland 5 years ago , i have a beautiful "pure ozzy"partner and 2 kids aged 1 & 2 now and need to get out there and see this place properly !!!
im looking forward to getting this prado done up with a safari snorkle , bull bar , roh trak wheels , new tyres , wheel archs , roof rack , windows tinted (ALL IMMEDIATELY) and THEN whatever other bits yous talk me into .
when i "get the bug" i can off-load my subaru WRX and buy a better prado  (more options)
i have read through these forums and could spend 20G on extras , i'll stick with about 3-4G for now to show the missus that the saving on buying a GX rather than a GXL was KINDA worth it (no offence to yous with the GXL that i really wanted) but here in SA it would have cost me 13grand more for a GXL than a GX so i couldnt make that jump .
would you believe i already have all those photos saved on my HD for future reference ...ALSO check out this thread and pics YOU posted .... thats another sensational GX on the first pic .
