            The same thing happened at a mine site that I was working at many years ago.
            Had a call from a colleague who had bogged a Hilux 4WD near a dam. Could not get it out using another Hilux and a rope (didn't have a snatch strap). Called in a wheeled loader, which promptly became bogged. Had to then get a D9 dozer to get everyone out!
            The 2 operators and I enjoyed the beer at the local pub that night as 'payment'.
            Sold the Prado. Now FJ Cruiser

              - If you are digging down, quit while you are still ahead.

                  Idiots. If the tractor hooked up the Patrol in the first place like the dozer did, the recovery would have been easy. Those fools were lucky not to bog the dozer. I've seen a dozer bogged, not pretty. Needed to be recovered by excavator.
