Bit of a tech tip, For removing minor marks and scratches in plastic trim. Makes bad ones not so bad also:

Tool of choice: Gas soldering iron with hot air tip fitted. Apply gentle heat to affected area (read: GENTLE!)

Result:

This one was especially bad (1-2 mm deep) but the result was more than satisfactory to me, Note that the scatch running right from hole is gone completely, just a bit of a dent at the hole. Minor scatches will just disappear.
You can of course get them professionally repaired, but at the rate I get them I'd be broke.
