Seriously doubt they are that old stock.

Ordered two sets (last two from Enfield after most other Adelaide stores were sold out.

1 set for me being my second and 1 for Matty being his second set. Damm great product I say at $295, unbeatable at $217.

Prado point community. I have just noticed a release from Rays Outdoors stating that they are having an Australia wide sale ending this weekend that offers VIP member 26.5% off store wide. Rays have a heap of good TJM recovery gear but the best find would have to be the fact that they stock Maxtrax. This means that this weekend only VIP members can pick up a set of Maxtrax for $216.82!

If your in the market for Maxtrax, this is the best price I have ever found!

By the way whats the TJM & XTM recovery gear like?

I bought a set of the XTM Recovery gear when they had it on sale before Christmas, seems well made and came in a nice strong bag too. I was looking in the catalogue later and noticed they were supposed to give me a bonus jump starter gadget, rang them and have it waiting for me to pickup.

Had to go to Ray's today to pickup my Porta-Jump (free bonus with the XTM Recovery Kit I ordered prior to this sale). I checked out the Maxtrax while I was there, they had 2 pairs left but hubby said no we have spent too much on recovery stuff already. Hopefully they will come on sale again, they seem to from time to time.

The XTM Recovery kit is currently priced at $197.72 if you are a Ray's VIP member but only until Friday. That's a few $$ less than I paid before chrissy but you don't get the free Porta-Jump as that was a catalog special.

On a side note the Porta-Jump is the Max version supposedly 100% more powerful than the standard one, it was marked at $99.95 on the shelf. Seems like a decent little unit as the battery is all sealed and can be stored in the glovebox with all its leads. It might come in handy next time I am called upon to start some customer's car at work or if my own battery should go flat.

You can always do a "click and collect" order if your local store has no stock but I'm not sure what happens if they have to get stock from the warehouse or another store. I believe they are supposed to contact you to make alternative arrangements (i.e. send by freight at extra cost).

Makes up for their over priced stuff Brains. Like Optima D34 - $399 at Rays. When everybody else has them for $299 or less. Its all swings and roundabouts.
