I've always been a fan of the silver tape... It fixes anything.
Fixed a broken air line on the seeder with it yesterday, and fixed a blown top cap on it too. Does a good job for a couple of dollars a roll.
If silver tape can fix these things, I'm sure the repair tape would have to work too.2011 150series GXL

Hutch,
It's good stuff IMO, I've even used it to repair a split in the garden hose after I ran over it in the car. Have also used it on a leaky connector in the fuel line on the boat, did the trick until I could do a proper repair.
Cheers,

Gorilla tape.....can fix anything.
Being American you never have too much Duct Tape anyway but the Gorilla tape is the best. I don't have anymore at the moment....all the cats in the neighborhood took it

Hehe, I also got 'suckered' into buying this stuff back in the 2009 June show.
The last time I used it was more than a year ago. I fixed several splits in a fiberglass tent pole, which I always meant to replace. Then as we erected the big-ol family tent this past weekend, I remembered how I have been meaning to replace that damaged pole! Camped at Moreton with gale force winds, I thought I'd be in trouble, but miraculously it survived without a problem.
I've also used it as a nut to hold my sand flag in place. The original nut rattled loose somewhere across the Simpson and the thread was stripped. I crossed 1.5 times with my makeshift nut, and it worked a treat.
My UHF antenna started to show some splitting after too many kms of corrugations. Again, out came the rescue tape. I keep that antenna as a spare, stored under the passenger seat.
There's been a couple of other odds and sods too.
I love the stuff!
