hi.
i have just got a 1997 5 door colorado GX. i'm very pleased with it but have one problem. here in the U.K. i can't get a proper loadguard and toyota no longer make/sell them (in the UK).
i have been quoted mega bucks to have one fabricated.
not having a template to go off i can't get my local fabricator to weld one up for me.
i know you guys in oz can buy one off the shelf but it seems that over here no-one gives a damn about what would happen in the event of an acident.
i realise that a made up guard won't have been load tested etc but it would offer better protection to my kids heads than the large amount of fresh air that currently occupies the space above the rear seats.
so, would someone be kind enough to provide pics and dimensions of a proper load guard so i can have it coppied.
i know people may be reluctant as its a safety critical piece of equipment but here in the U.K. there is no alternative.
many thanks.
