Does anyone know what this thing is?

Hi Guys, found this under the hood of the missus Mitsi 380. Definetly aftermarket but I have no idea what it is for. There are only four wires, positive and negative, plus two wires that are screwed to the body, one on the left side of the car, and one run around and screwed to the body on the other side of the car. It has a few numbers on it but no name, nothing comes up in google though. It has one orange LED on top which is on when power is on. I pulled the fuse out of it to see if it effected anything but everything seemed to work the same???

Well it has a C-tick on it so it could very well be a GPS tracker.

Yeah I'd say one of those unproven snake oil so called rust proofing devices. Sorry but I dont reckon they work. I've seen one in a car(near new) that had rust starting right next to it!

Yea, but they put one electrode in the water. Cars don't always sit in water.
