New Prados for sale on Car Sales website

Was looking through the Car Sales website this morning, for another cheap Corolla for my son, after he tried to knock down a tree with his Corolla (the tree did not move).

Thought I may as well see if there were any Prados on the site, and found 3 new ones, all diesel autos at a dealership (not stated) with a Victorian phone number.

1 x Altitude model at $72,990

2 x GXL at $60,980 and $62,490

Drive away prices.

Sound like good prices.

When I was looking for our 120 GXL and our 150 GXL, we used carsales. When the dealer tells you that there will be months of waiting, you tell him that there are ones in the state that are on carsales. If they don't want to help, try to strike a deal with the dealer on carsales and drive it home. Worked for us!!! Also served well to sell our 120. Put it up for sale 9am and the guy who bought it phoned at 4:30 that same afternoon.

I printed out the cheapest price I could find for a petrol 150 auto GXL. Stuffed it under the nose of my dealer and said I wanted a diesel. Job done. Saved 9k off the RRP.

Some PP's say they have to wait 2 or 3 months before they can get a delivery, so I thought someone might be after a Prado immediately. Don't know how good the Altitude price is.

Was after a second hand 120 petrol in 2010 on Car Sales, when I saw a new 150 GXL petrol at a good discount. It was from Windsor Toyota in western Sydney. They had to sell 2 Prados quickly so as to receive their monthly bonus from Toyota Australia, so I grabbed one at the good price. Happy with the deal and 6 year warranty.
