table on rear door

has anyone created a table that folds down on the inside of the rear door? is so, show us yer pics so i can unashamedly copy it!!

Yes, there was a thread on this subject, let me look it up for you.

As it is an old thread, most of pics have been removed by the poster. Send a person message PM to McBain or Embi. I believe they each have one setup in their prado.

Hi guys 1st post on this forum so hope the pics attach right.

Here is the table on the rear door of our 120. Easy to make only thing to watch IMHO is attaching the hinges and ensuring that screws go through to body metal and not just in the plastic for a bit extra support.

The straps are the remains of a cheap ratchet strap.

This has been in the back now for 18 months and sees the high country most weekends and doubles as a change table for our 7 month old and so far no dramas.

i fixed up the links on that page, changed hosting company a couple of months ago and this one is case sensitive on URL's... half my pages died in the process!! buggers...

back on topic the table is invaluable! these days i use it more as a baby change table when we're out and about. get all sorts of looks in shoppnig centre car parks!
