  • Anyone heading to the Simpson late October ?

    Hi
I have been planning a trip through the flinders, birdsville track, Simpson and then Oodnatta and back to melbourne for a while now.
I plan on setting off 12th October and spending 3 weeks to complete the trip.

Everyone else has had to pull out of the trip for various reasons but I still want to go. I'd happily do most of the trip myself but want to cross the Simpson with a group.

Are there any groups out there that will be crossing the simpson late October ? Can I tag along ?

    Chris

    Hi Chris,

Are you on any other forums? This one, as good as it is, is a bit limited in getting a message like this out there. Try LCOOL, 4x4earth or even myswag.
Just a thought to try to get to as many people as possible. The only problem might be having to travel with a Nissan

sounds like another good trip, something Id definately be interested in when its cooler.
The heat is good as long as there is water/swimable and/or air-con readily available for a break from it :-) yep im soft!
