broken Prado

G'day guys.

the first weekend after geting our Prado we had some clown come tearing round a bend on a track on our side and cleaned us up. It has taken 1.5 months to get it in the shop which is no real great deal as it was still drivable, Anyway long story short it went in the shop on Monday this week which was all good cause I was away in the truck all week the missus was not to keen on it however. I also have a asia rocsta which is not going as the motor is a no go now days so I am juiast wondering if any of ya'll know anything about these lil jeeps, I want to put a new motor n gear box in it pretty much I want to change everything on it except the body.

a briggs and stratton 3.5 hp 4 stroke should increase the power slightly coupled to a lada niva running gear - she would feel like a new vehicle

From memory they run copies of mazda motors and gearboxes, There was a company in Sydney that had the contract to supply spares (tho this is years ago) they might be able to help.
I looked at one years ago and it had the mazda diesel and gearbox , they were copies but everything swapped over so there is a start, from memory there was a couple of forums for these vehicles
