So I checked out the kaymar bar at the ARB stand today at leisurefest great piece of equipment but at $4000 a little pricey. Problem is I really like it.

$4000 wow didn't think they would cost that much, might have to make a couple more to fund more gear for the prado

Plus for the 120 it doesn't even fit properly.

I have spoken to Shaun at GSE Rig Gear to make a rear bar and single wheel carrier in same spot as original on door (to cover up the indent in the door). I also want the bar to go all the way to the rear wheels. He says it can be done, but needs a vehicle to work with. Minor problem - I'm in Sydney, he is in Melbourne. Looking at some of his work, it's very impressive. May be we can get him to make a few. I have him working on a set of sliders similar to X-rox but longer and stronger.

Have a look at this thread:

General concensus is that the Kaymar doesn't fit well on the sides on the 120 - see post #13 to see how bad it is. Seems to be much better on the 150 though.

Well that didn't help at all Trekrider it was like reading a suspense novel and somebody tore out the ending.
It was also a concern that some have broke. I have not long replaced the Toyota tow bar for this reason.
                What to do?
Maybe somebody could Finnish the story of did MLC get a rear bar? What one and why.
                Cheers

Ahr so it is not only me then. I found exactly the same thing as I am looking at rear bars now. The 120 Kaymar seems just a bit off on the rear edges and not so well integrated, where as the 150 version is a much cleaner look.
                      Cheers
