Anyone ventured into the show this week? Anything a stand out attraction?

Is Toyota well represented as I'm keen to compare the VX/GXL spec 200 series and 150 without havIng first step into that leech infested swamp otherwise know as a new car dealership.

Went last night, it was a pretty poor show really,i like to go and look at the cars that i would never buy and lot of manufacturers where missing this year. Toyota only had 1 200s didn't take notice of model and 1 150s kakadu. The most interesting fact that i found out about was that for a Merc that costs $535k that price will include $105k of Luxury tax [1/5] for our govt to waste.
The VW's seem to be attracting the biggest crowd on a quite night, i guess due to their popularity with the market.
And the clear standout was near closing time the background music was turned up [that Psy song] and the Isuzu,,Suzuki and Holden girls decided to have a dance off.

I gather some of the marque manufacturers turn up in alternate years due to cost considerations so maybe an off year for some brands we couldn't afford anyway. Still, a not-so-good car show has got to be better then being dragged shop to shop for a day of Xmas shopping.........
