in sydney we use the upward extended middle finger wave , just prior to being shot at , depending on what suburb your in .03 grande v6 , with added stuff that makes it go places . RTFM people !

Given the quality of most average drivers, the fact that many already have too many other distractions (phones, ipods, etc) other than concentrating on driving, I would prefer other drivers keep both hands on their steering wheel.

On a trip from Adelaide to Sydney and back towing the Jayco, we got a wave from every grey nomad towing a caravan.

When we were in SA we noticed that everyone seems to wave to you, especially down the Yorke Peninsula.
As for waving grey nomads, I got so sick of waving to them I made it a policy to only wave at people on dirt roads.Can't we just keep travelling?
