Old front bumper

Guys, picked up my first Prado today a 2008 KDJ120. First trip is to ARB next week for a bullbar and OME 2" lift. The bumper front panel that is replaced by the bullbar is brand new. What happens to it? Do I get to keep it? I figure someone could buy it and I suspect they are not cheap! Anyone had this experience?

They are a dime a dozen, you would be lucky to give one away.

Bugger, I'm looking at doing a similar thing, and was hoping that I could get something back for the old bumper (just to soften the blow to the wallet).

I sold my 150 bumper with the OE fog lights for ~$150 on ebay. Had to list it about 6 times over a couple of months before anyone bid. Not much demand for them out there but a bit of beer money if you've got the patience

Yeah I got my graphite one which I'll put up for sale soon.
I don't really get why not much demand for them. Heaps of prado's out there and accidents generally all the time.
I'm not sure how much an OEM costs, but a couple hundred bucks sounds fair for a private sale IMO.

Just checked Gumtree in my local area, and there is a number of 120 and 150 bumpers on there going cheap, so I'm not holding my breath to get much for ours when the bar goes on.

My 95's bar was damaged when I replaced it with the ARB steel bar. They were a bit surprised when I asked them for the original fog lamps back, said most people just toss them. I couldn't use them but figured someone else with a factory bumper might want them; really should get round to listing them in the sale section now I no longer have the 95.

I sold mine in about an hour on here to a fellow member. God only knows what uncle Toyota would want for one but a 100 beer tickets came my way and he was happy to have a spare stashed in the shed just in case.
