Wonder where that would have been...

The way 'insert said magazine' harp on about it, one would think it cures cancer.

Once upon a time....means quite a few years ago back in Germany I exclusively used Liqui moly oil for all vehicles I had including a 911 Porsche, a 1000 cc Laverda 3 cylinder, a Triton diesel 4x4, a Patrol 3.3 l diesel and a BMW R1100R motorbike.

All vehicles did quite a bit of mileage (I still have the BMW here in Australia) and I still would use it if I could get it at locally.
What sold me on liqui moly was the additive graphite/MOS2 for emergency lubrication (e.g at cold start).

And at least on the the Laverda I can confirm that it worked very well: usually the cams on this bikes got wear marks from moving over the top of the valve cups pretty easily. Mine were still within the manufactures specs after 100,000 km.

I would use it again if I could get it without major hassle and if it would provide the same bang for the buck like it did in Germany.

              Regards
              Mike

Personally, I'd reckon it would be an expensive oil change....

If you are doing your oil/filter every 5k KMs anyways, not the 10k KM that Toyota recommends....
