  • Fullriver AGM batteries - where to buy cheap?

I am wanting to get a Fullriver 55ah AGM battery to use as my second battery in my 150. Anyone know where in reasonable close proximity to Brisbane I can get one for a good price?

Give Springers a call. They will give you a very competitive price and then will try and beat any other price you get.

You will just have to ring around. I bought one from Springers http://www.springers.com.au/engine.asp?catid=9 and then the next one (which sits in the trailer and charges phones and iThings) I picked up in Hervey Bay (Positive Batteries). The second was cheaper than the first but there was some discount offer. You may find it easier to buy from down South and have it shipped. Google and telephone is your best option. Ritar and Fullriver same same. Though looking at Springers site $395 isn't cheap, I think I paid about $325 for the last one about 13 months ago.

EDIT: I should have added I am running 120Ah batteries (hence the $) so the smaller capacity will be cheaper. It is possible to put one of these in the front of a 120 but it means modifying the battery mount (I used a Piranha and added 25mm of flatbar into it) and then aggressing upon a few things near it.

Got onto All Purpose Batteries in NSW, who are offering free delivery.

Picked up a SSB 12V 55AH AGM DEEP CYCLE AGM BATTERY for $190.00

                DIMENSIONS ARE 228mm x 13mm x 208mm

                WEIGHT: 22KG

I am told they are the same as full river and I wont have to bend my air con pipes
