Waeco cf50 went in for a replacement of thermister...about 9yrs old.
Quoted $160....was phoned today from the owner saying during replacement..which is a little tricky...he went a little to far and drilled the something something....I said now what?!

He said a reconditioned 5yr old newer model was on the way with all ACDC (great band) cables and new fridge cover and unconditional 12month warranty!

So here is a plug for AR for outstanding honesty and fairdinkum approach as a waeco repairer...

Yes indeed....even more so since they have decided not to charge a cent of the original repair cost...I insisted I pay it in good faith....they said 100% No.

I know where im going next for repairs etc...
