What was that Prado???

I spotted a Prado in traffic in the city last week. I'm sure was a 2800 dual cam sticker on it.
Looked like a 120 without the plastic guard trims and not that old.
Any ideas?

Could be an import. But according to wikipedia, the 2.8 diesel was in the 95 series.

Wasn't there also a 2.8lt petrol available overseas as that is what the dual cam would indicate?

Their was a 2.7 lt petrol the same motor that was in the hilux, it was available on the base GX on the initial 120 launch.
