  • Toyota Bullbars - where best to purchase

Hi everyone, does anyone know where to purchase preferably genuine bullbars from other than the delears. Dealers are asking to much. I pick up a new 2013 Prado on Wednesday and need to make decision whether to fit after or have the dealer do it

Dealers are the only ones who could sell you a brand new one I'd think.

Out of interest why a genuine bar?
They're about as useful as a jake brake on a genset when it comes to protecting the front end...

And see that right there is what I call 'poking the bear' no need for the above 2 comments...

To actually answer the questions, Genuine bars will be only available from Toyota Genuine Parts Dealers, best to talk to your sales person and ask them to sweeten the deal - they could have a few in stock they are trying to get rid of. Some dealers like SciFleet, CMI etc also sell on Ebay at reduced rates and the one Jasen has quoted above is quite well priced on what I believe the genuine bar used to RRP for - fitting should not be that hard and remember you will need to cut your OE bar.

For non genuine bars try TJM, ARB, ECB dealers and not forgetting the Smart Bar.

      Cheers Daniel

O no, this is still a free country and I don't need your approval!

Only joking mate I know you are just playing me at my own game.

I was thinking of uploading this pic onto my profile to help people understand I mean no offence in my posts but I can't work out how to do it.
Mate you can PM me anything especially about those awesome Hills Hoist Smartbars. I know its all in jest, gives me a little chuckle too.
