Anyway so far this is what I have found with oztrail wentworth, a 210cm long swag is 195cm long, mattress us 170cm long. So yes feet touch the end and kick the end pole/upright out. Not impressed OZTRAIL.
It does not set up neat like the pictures, it lays on you a bit.
There's not much to hold the top flap down in the wind if its raining, just 2 little velcros half way up each side and a 15cm piece in the middle at the top. It's needs a bit at the corners as well.
So yes it's pretty tight, and hot.
Ok stop laughing, there's no way im paying $400 for an Arb swag.

My other swag was luxury in comparison, (as long as you didn't set it up in 24hrs of persistent rain, but today I was shown the waterproofing gear at Bcf for $17.
If nothing else you provide us with plenty of entertainment! The $99 from Rays is a bit of canvas with a zip and a flimsy mattress!

The darche ones look alright too.
      150 with stuff bolted on!

That's the funny thing they all look alright

The jungle reef ones we got from techniice looked and work excellently till they were parked in 24 hrs of rain.

Those darche ones, they Arb with out the name? Maybe half price????

I'm going to peg the oztrail out properly today, if not happy it will be going back later today.
I think the canvas and stitching is very good it's design is a bit lacking, probably an ok option for small ppl.

The traditional King models look all right, does anyone have one of these and can provide feedback?

Double swag from Remlap in Palmer in SA - can't say enough good things about it
Wool lined top and bottom, have slept in it more times than I care to remember.
Will be doing a 10/11,000k trip with 2 kids shortly. They have their own swags so I don't have to share!

              .

That still makes me laugh, jungles are normally pretty wet kind of places, reefs even wetter again and you bought it from a company that sells Eski's, you'd think them leaking would be the least of your problems! Try filling your swag with ice will it keep it cold for up to 7 days? Surely wouldn't be any wetter inside, just maybe colder!

Bought a oztrail Winton swag, pretty happy with it. Heaps of room. Not cheap though. Got mine from vancruiser online, no local shops could match their prices.

I've been looking at a Mrswagman Deluxe, but at $500 it's hard to justify when it will only be used a couple of times a year.. I like the fact it has top and head entry, plenty of ventilation and the poles go through canvas sleeves providing extra strength.
