transfer box removal

Hi all sorry but its a 70 series question (why no section for 70's?)
Got a 1994 kzj71 manual with a 1kz. Having gearbox issues and concidering replacing myself but cant see how to get transfer box off in one piece...any help would be greatly appreciated. ..even a slightly cross redirect to correct place would be awesome

Do they ave the r150 5 speed?
I assume you have the box out? Then, take out the 10 or so bolts and with a small tap to crack it loose it will slip right off.

Ah no its at a friends place still in one piece, a gearbox place said it would be expensive to repair as transfer case has to be removed piece by piece to actually get at the gearbox! It is a 5 speed but will have to check for markings!
