Just not worth the stress of the crowds, parking, etc. for a small discount.
Know what you mean. Might leave it till midweek as I retire next Wednesday. I haven't missed it in 20 odd years. I just think of it as a day (or two) out and will be living in Qld soon. Go the maroons!

Was there today as it opened up.
The mild bit of rain definitely put a wet feeling on the show today and tested out the canvas tents..The infield was a mess when we went to leave.
A guy in a forerunner looked like he was having fun recovering people- his car was white but was black when I saw it..
