I decided that it was time to update the Prado. Being a petrol I wanted to go diesel especially as I also tow a caravan. As much as i still love the Prado's in my opinion the diesel is underpowered. (That comment is not to start an argument and is just my view) So after looking at a couple vehicles, I was able to take a 200 series out for the day including off road. Unfortunately or fortunately I was hooked and decided I had to have one. Yes they are big and yes they are overpriced but it is an awesome vehicle to drive, performed fantastic offroad and i just loved the power of that V8 diesel.

So yes I bought one and quite excited. Will take a little time to build her up once the funds allow

Now I need to sell the Prado.... Will be sad to see her go . So if you know anyone interested let me know.

You just cant beat the v8 diesel. I ordered a 76 series in march, still have about a month to wait. Do the 200's have a similar wait?

If only they offered the 200series v8 in the 79.

I'd still rather the old 6 though.

In fact I'd just like if they made a decent ute that was comfortable to drive.

There is only a single word that is dirtier than Case/International harvester in my family, and that word is Nissan.

Guess what John Deere has a bit of competition at a local ToyWorld store... they finally have some CaseIH merchandise for sale. Apparently the John Deere products have been... omitted from the store.

Hubby doesn't like the colour red at all so in our house we call it CaseIH Red (well he does do work for Ramsey Bros).

That's a fair wait. I bought a 2012 model but delivered 2013. So no wait except for the fact they are cheaper in Sydney so just waiting for it to be transported across.
Congrats on the 76 awesome vehicle and potential... and yes it was that motor that did it for me..... would love to see one in a Prado

I'd rather have the 200 series v8 in the prado. Can't beat the twin turbos.
