150 radio operation

Friend just bought a new 150 gxl d4d and was says in the log books it says you can turn radio on without key and is doing what the book says which is push one button then mode button and should turn on without key. Anyone know the correct procedure for turning on without key or I presume she means without starting arnt they push button start ???? Cheers thanks steve

I normally just push the start button without my foot on the brake, this turns on the accessories. If I want to leave the radio on when I pull up I'll turn the car off while still in gear and the shift it to park, this seems to leave the accessories on. I'll have a look at the book after and see if I can work it out Steve.
