  • Anyone drive a Kluger?

Considering one for the missus to replace her Honda Jazz.
Apparently there will be an Altitude spec out in the next few weeks so might be able to get a Grande Spec for 'S' spec price.
    Cheers, Leon

My brother-in-law has one and it's a great car. Very smooth, comfortable car to drive with plenty of guts under the bonnet, I drove it once and really liked it.

FYI, the 2014 model (coming at the end of this year) will be an entirely new design so make sure you get a good deal on the outgoing model.

Just don't buy the model with 19" wheels or you're going to pay the same for the tyres as the Prado.

I drove a 2012 model for work. Good to drive, but glad i didn't have to pay the fuel bill.

Have a look at the new Rav4 Leon, we did and have to say we were impressed enough to replace the Mazda 6 with it (both of us not a fan so when Lawry had a small accident used it as an excuse to flick it). Driven the kluger a bit for work, great SUV however thirsty...

My sisters both have one. Very nice car to drive, fuel economy is quite good I reckon considering the size.

I drive a 2wd for work and husband has the Awd with leather seats as his company car. Prefer the Awd. I have used it to tow the horsefloat and eeps its thirsty but has guts - but watching the fuel consumption explode is quite daunting - glad I wasnt paying for the petrol.

I like it, if it came in diesel I would have one.

                  Thanks ya'll.
Rav I think is just a bit small for what we need. The Jazz is full after a pram is put in the back and the Rav didn't look much bigger.
Book says 11 for combined fuel economy so I'm guessing add a liter or two for real world. It will be a tax deductible car but the cash still has to come out of our pocket first.
Scary thing is... after talking to the sales guy for a while he tells me he told his daughter to buy a Mazda over the Camry!!
                  What is Toyota coming to!!
He did mention a new model coming next year... but still no diesel unfortunately this needs to be ordered before EOFY.
                  Cheers, Leon

We had a Camry before Trish got her Rav, hands down the best car we have ever owned. The Rav is a good reliable car but noisy and thirsty, wouldn't rush out to get another one.

It will be interesting to see the new Kluger model, the Kluger would be high on our wish list except for the fact it is so Ugly.

                    Cheers Andrew

Ugly, 'soft agricultural' I say... It fits a lot in as far as I can see.
                      Cheers, Leon

Rav4, small? It's the Tardis in there mate. Has to be, fits my wife's handbag and pram in there.

We tossed and turned on the Kluger, would love one but I was being a tight ass and did not want to pay rego for a 6.

I sat behind a new Rav the other day and didn't recognise it. Wonder if that is the new generic shape to be applied across the range as before.

I must say I didn't even recognise the RAV when I was in the Toyota car lot.

I'm not gonna beat around the bush, the new rav is ugly.

Looks like an oversized hatch back.
