I normally drop by the local car wash and high pressure the main dirt/mud/sand off first then wash it at home with the Karcher (we need to use a Karcher for anything high pressure as our water pressure it like a dribble).2007 GXL V6 - ARB Bullbar with LED lights, snorkel, extractors, 2 1/4" dual exhaust, K&N filter, dimpled/slotted rotors, headrest dvd players, Ebay Satnav/reverse camera, GME 3100TX, Tigerz11 Side awning on custom brackets with Maxtrax mounts, 300W Invertor, ARB Underbody protection, Lightbar and STZ 265/70 tyres.
Wish list in order I'll get them: Sliders, 2" lift, E-locker, Winch bar with winch.

I have to wash my Prado out in the street which is always busy with through traffic. Getting in underneath with the normal Karcher lance or even a hose can be tricky and dangerous, just figured the under chassis cleaner attachment would make it easier and safer.Originally posted by BlakMoth View PostI just get under there with the normal end bit on the Karcher. Or a hose if I can't be bothered getting it out of the shed.
Do you mean the spray bottle bit that you swap for the rotary sprayer like in this video?Originally posted by Ozpat View PostBeen using one of these for 2 years and it works great. I fill the bottle with cheap sugar soap and let it soak for 10 mins then give a good rinse off.

OK, so you can change the nozzles on the sprayer unit itself? I have a Karcher pressure pump unit already so won't have to make any mods to the attachment itself.Originally posted by mjrandom View PostCorine that is what #1 bought. Three nozzles come with it so higher flow, lower pressure through to lower flow and higher pressure. Using the highest flow nozzles I doubt there is enough pressure to do any damage to seals and it works far better that I expected.Last edited by fido666; 08-09-2014, 07:22 PM.

That's the one. One bottle full will do the whole underneath. Don't forget if you're worried about too high a pressure just lower the unit to the ground.Originally posted by fido666 View PostDo you mean the spray bottle bit that you swap for the rotary sprayer like in this video?

I noticed it was height adjustable which is good, means you can do normal cars with it too.Originally posted by Ozpat View PostThat's the one. One bottle full will do the whole underneath. Don't forget if you're worried about too high a pressure just lower the unit to the ground.
OK, thanks for confirming.Originally posted by mjrandom View PostCorine it comes with three separate nozzles.
There's not a whole heap of clearance around the car on my driveway, plus it floods the area around the front door too much. I clean the interior there though.Originally posted by BlakMoth View PostCertainly does sound dangerous doing it on the road Fido. We do it on the driveway. Don't have any lawn to top dress

Why do you say that?Originally posted by BlakMoth View PostI bet it's mostly weeds

The nozzles fit into a rotating arm. The nozzles clip in. Originally it came with the highest flow nozzles and we changed these to the medium flow. The attachment is the K mount bayonet. I didn't read any instructions but the packet says different flow. My Spitwater punches out more flow than any of the domestic Karchers so I guess it is moot whether Mr and Mrs a Karcher recommend different nozzles with different models. I can only go by the change in flow and pressure we observed.Originally posted by r4ndll View PostAren't those for different model karchers ? Randall was right, according to the manual the nozzles are for different cleaners:
"Select the nozzles to match the high pressure
cleaner used.
K 2: Use yellow high pressure nozzles
K 3, K 4, K 5: Use black high-pressure nozzles
K 6, K 7: Use orange high pressure nozzles
(already installed)"
Since I don't have a Karcher then I will do as I wish!
And yes grass is a weed, especially the 20,000 m2 of couch that I have. Couldn't see the point of saying that though. The big question is grass Monocotyledonous or Dicotyledonous? My 150 build - http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread.php?27423-A-Random-approach-to-a-Bluestorm-150-GXL-D4D-automatic
