  • Topgear North Pole show

Did anyone else see the fitted out Prado 120 support vehicle in the Topgear North Pole show last night ?

Jeremy Clarkson and James May drove a Hilux d4d
    http://www.topgear.com/content/timetobu ... -hilux/01/

However, in a couple of the crew shots there appears to be a Prado that was towing a trailer ?

From memory, the conversion involves new, stronger diffs with a lower ratio.

                        Hilux north pole

It was worth watching, the hilux almost unbreakable, went well. The porta potti on the hitch was interesting as was the lighter fluid in the tyre when reseating the bead.
Lightforce 240Blitz driving lights, Rear hitch recovery point, GME tx3400 uhf, 64watt Uni-Solar cell, ARB CKMA12 Air compressor. all awaiting new vehicle to be delivered so they can be remounted.

I have a Arctic Trucks 37 conversion on my 120. They calibrate the speedo electronicly with a small box they ad. It's adjustable, and they use a GPS to adjust to the right speed. This is on 33 and 35 only. On the 37-package, they change gearing to be like original, so they don't have to adjust it.
