The advertising picture doesn't look like the ones in this picture you just put up and they certainly look pretty new as well !!! Either way they look great and certainly cover the important bits and your price is very good compared to Brown Davis which is normally who I use.... Cheers Steve

While I was out i dropped into the ARB dealer in Alice who had their bash plates in stock....RRP was $446, dang its a beast of setup. 3 plates with a bunch of renforcing, was quite impressed. Its 25kg approximately, need to have a think if I need to upgrade the front struts to "Tough Dog heavy duty" for the extra weight....
Local Ironman dealer doesn't hold stock of them so not easy to compare...
Must admit, ARB setup is sweet :-)

How much do these weigh?Originally posted by Ironman 4x4 View PostHey Steve,
Our 150 Prado is definately running the underbody protection.
Here is a pic of it when it was up in the hoists. Should give everyone a good idea of it's coverage.

According the install instructions on their website. ~20kg for the engine bay and ~13.5kg for the transmission plates.Originally posted by Symo View PostHow much do these weigh?[SIZE=2]120 GXL D4D Auto, with a 'List of Wants' greater than the 'List of Needs' greater than the 'List of Haves'

Purchased the IronMan plates for my 150 to go with my ARB bulbar after seeing the picture above. They looked the goods alright in the picture.
Did I trial fit of the front plate, but took it off straight away and returned them and purchased the ARB plates.
If you look in the picture supplied in post #61, the side wing panels for the bullbar are missing. You can see where the inner guard liners are just hanging in the breeze.
If the side wing panels were fitted in this picture, you would see there is a big gaping hole left between the bullbar and front protection plate if you are using the ARB bulbar. Don't know if it would be the same with the IronMan bullbar.
I believe the IronMan plates were designed for a 150 Prado fitted with a genuine Toyota alloy bulbar.
My micrometer also measured the IronMan plates nearly 1mm thinner than advertised, nearly 2mm thinner than the ARB plates.
Love my new IronMan winch, recovery kit and awning though. Here for a good time, not a long time!

What are yours fido? 3mm? You like thicker? Like 4mm? Bushskins are 4mm.Originally posted by fido666 View PostI have the Ironman plates fitted to my 150 Kakadu with a TJM T13 bar. Side wings stay attached and there is no gap between the front edge of the Ironman plate and the TJM radiator protection plate. They could be a bit thicker but they do the job.
Mark won a set at the gtg, you know BUSHSKINZ sponsored the event, mark might post a pic when they are on, the electroplating looks very nice.

Ironman advertise them as 2.5mm/3mm but I haven't checked them with a micrometer. At the time I purchased the Ironman plates Bushskinz weren't making them for KDSS equipped 150s so I never considered them. I actually tried sourcing a factory front bash plate to replace my damaged one at the time off a wrecker who had a Kakadu in his yard and he wanted $400 just for the front plate, the Ironman full set only cost me $470 fitted LOL. My Ironman front plate now has a serious ding in the folded edge thanks to a large rock on Billy Goat's Bluff, have yet to try and take it off to attempt some amateur panel beating on it.Originally posted by Anth120playdo View PostWhat are yours fido? 3mm?
