I once went to Giraween and saw a female couple spend half a day erecting there 'set up'. They certainly had all the kit and I liked it how they put a large gazebo over the park wooden seats and table. However isn't camping meant to be about getting away quickly from all the crowds and going back to basics?? Maybe I'm just showing my age!! I don't get taking all this electrical stuff. Here's an article which is very relevant. Like it states most third world countries would laugh at us (1'st world'ers) for paying to go away camping!!

Oh and Fido, I think a TV can be counted as a luxury camping item
