By installing that switch, it won't harm the redarc but you just totally defeated the purpose of an automatic system. You could've saved a lot of money and just whacked in a big honking solenoid and be done with it.
I was thinking the same thing, SBI stands for smart battery isolator, if you want them to just disconnect with the ignition get a dumb ass solenoid for a quarter the price, all the redarc really is, is a fancy solenoid. By adding the momentary switch you are just complicating things, in order to make an SBI work like a solenoid.
