How to clean a Prado?

Wow - some great responses. Thanks I use Turtle Wash & Wax but at my place it's hard to wash and chamois before the wax in the water beads leaves marks on the car that are hard to remove. I always wash just before sunset. and I have tried to dilute the solution a bit more. It worked beautifully for my Suzuki Sierra, but the paint is quite a bit different on the Prado. Now I'm thinking of using a wax friendly detergent to just wash the car, dry it off with a chamois and then applying wax from a paste/block...

I use two buckets, a bunch of towels and one of these sprayers (they're pretty solid). If I need to clean the underside, I pop the car up on the ramps and wiggle myself under there with the hose.

The one I have connects to my pressure cleaner and is $99. Vaiable spray from a jet to a fan and vaiable mix from none to lots. If anyone is after similar drop me a pm. #1 used it this morning to de-mud the old Rodeo. Worked really well.

I also use the CT18 for the wash...

After the wash I use AUTOGLYM Products.

After washing I always give the vehicle a quick wipe over with the Autoglym Surface Detailing Clay Bar. This removes all road grime and is not harmful to the paint. Then I finish off with Autoglym Rapid Detailer or Autoglym Instant Show Shine.
A couple of times a year I give the car a polish with Autoglym Ultra Deep Shine Polish.

I have nothing to do with Autoglym, I just use and trust their products.

I use degreaser in the engine bay wait 3-5min and wash out with medium spray from Karcher Pressure Cleaner. CT18 mix in a hand pump bottle for the underside of car, spray on and wait 5-10min then clean off with high spray. CT Wash and Wax for the body, do a section at a time and hose off to prevent suds drying. Once done take her for a burn down the road and when you get home clean up any left over spots with the chamois rag.
