    poly air pressure

    hey guys just after a bit of info please

    this weekend i have to tow a mates boat which is just over a tonne for about 200km , of which 50 is unsealed and was wondering what psi should i put in the poly air?

    info would be appreciated

    I am lead to believe that the ride hight is way to go not the pressure.
    The instructions i was given is to mesure the hight of your rear bar before hitching the trailer. hithch the trailer then pump up the airbags to get the bar back to the original mesurement.
    Not quite sure what the maximum pressure is off hand, i would have to look through my manual.

      Spot on Gus .... they're in there to maintain the ride height.

      Max pressure is 30 psi. I did a trip around Oz towing a 1500 Kg camper trailer and had my Polyairs at 20 psi .... perfect height, good road feel.

          I'd go the other way... Pump them up to max pressure first then hitch the trailer. Once your hitched let the air out till you get your height.

          I think you'll find they emphasise this in the instructions.

            I agree with the measuring part but the instructions definitely state fill to max of 30 psi, add load and then deflate to desired height.Here's the instructions in PDF and have a look at the right bottom of the page.
