  • Western Australian fusion automotive, Perth

Just wondering if anyone of our western australian members have delt with the guys from fusion automotive in Perth ? Only reason I ask is they have a great priced ironman lift kit at the moment and I am very keen to purchase however I spent half an hour on hold to them today. Doesn't seem professional. I don't wanna cut them off completely based on there phone manner but its hard to ignore.

Any feed back at all is great.

I'd get in touch with Ironman in Kewdale and ask if they'd match the price. If they agree, make sure you ask if they are in stock as delivery from Melbourne can be delayed. Still waiting 3 months after ordering a set of rear drawers from them. That's the problem living here in WA.... WA = Wait Awhile!!!!

Not a grieve with the local guys as they are just as frustrated.... Just a word of warning if you need the lift kit sooner than later.

I got a Ironman suspension kit from them two years back and was happy with price, service and delivery time.
Their price including delivery was lower than pickup at the Sydney Ironman dealership and their attitude on the phone much nicer.......

          Regards
          Michael

Ok so got through to the guys at fusion automotive, after the delays yesterday they were amazing to deal with, ended up discussing to go with front heavy duty coils and rear standard coils from west coast suspension and front and rear ironman foam filled shocks. Total of $890 to my door. Quite happy with this price. Any feed back on west coast suspension gear ( the price I got was a free upgrade to westcoast gear as ironman had no stock)

Never heard of the West Coast Suspension brand. Best to go with a more well known brand.

Westcoast are wa made. Was just talking to a guy about them. They used to deal with there truck stuff allot and never had a problem (he changed company's apparently they still use it). When I spoke to the guys from fusion they said that the west coast stuff is normaly more expensive but with the experience on the phone and not being a all round set of ironman coils available they would upgrade for free.

                  .
The problem is people still use this as an excuse freight from eastern states to perth is 3 , 4 days max and I don't see that as much of an issue if it is any longer the people you are dealing with are not doing the rite thing,as their suppliers may have an "x" amount of $ per order and they get free freight then you have to wait until they get the minimum order value, which could be up to 2 weeks +, and you still as the end receiver get hit with freight. occasionally the freight company stuff things up and you will find it is consistently the same freight companies, so you just avoid using them as a carrier.

You're dead right fishfinder. Spoke to local agent in Perth and it is to do with "x" amount of $'s and the number of items (ie: Minimum delivery is a full 40' container).
Unfortunately they had a delivery 2 days before I ordered mine and the stock were all on hold for others
