Yes, just imagine, plastic would have broken out and the light dragging along the road until the wires broke! Steel is good.My 150 build - http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread.php?27423-A-Random-approach-to-a-Bluestorm-150-GXL-D4D-automatic

What a load of rubbish. If the spot light was that loose it would have created wear marks on the outer edge of the washer / nut where the bull bar is. It would have also worn the paint away. One would have noticed if the light/s where that loose. What evidence has ARB provided to prove there response?
Do you have a photo of the lights in question showing the top and bottom surface areas where they come into contact with the bull bar?Last edited by winniliss; 02-08-2013, 08:58 PM.Winston.

Is the area still flat? Looks like it is raised which brings me back to my original question. My 150 build - http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread.php?27423-A-Random-approach-to-a-Bluestorm-150-GXL-D4D-automatic

I find that hard to believe, unless the individual chose NOT to fuse the light circuit.Originally posted by JasenI read another post recently where a steel bar dropped its spots and the wires arked out and buggered the alternator so it's well worth adding the spots to your daily checks.'04 120 Petrol Flinders Red GXL

Damn that is some serious fracturing????? It does look like metal fatigue
if I was ARB scout scanning these sites id be telling HQ to check it out......
But....we have all seen plastic parts chew through cast metal within the engine bay etc over time if they rub.....
So If you have a loose stee bolt and metal base of the spotty slapping back and forth for hours on end...then something like this is expected to happen but bugger me it looks bad!
In saying this and the reaction ARB had....me thinks Arb has seen this before.....
Crappy situation.....

'Justice' lol go back to your possums my friend, this isn't the wild westOriginally posted by JasenSo you don't think there is any logic in trying to get justice for a PP member because your bar is ok?
ARB get one bar wrong and that makes it ok to fob a guy off because they got loads of other bars right?
There's not enough info to draw any conclusions. Did the OP go to ARB Kilsyth or just to a dealer? Were the original holes enlarged for the lights?
Obviously this wouldn't happen on a smartbar...My Prado

Oh please I am just stating some basic facts. If that was my bar I'd be parked across the front door at Kilsyth until they replaced my bar.Originally posted by JasenD4D if you don't care about other people that's up to you but please don't try to stop me.My Prado
