  • ARB Jerrycan holder

I bought a double jerry can holder which has the jerrys sitting horizontally and tried to mount it on an ARB alloy roof rack . The holes in the clamps had to be elongated as they would not fit . I then found that you have to use steel ARB jerrys . Ok they now fit nicely into the holder but the adjustable clamp will not fit as it's at its maximum adjustment . I had to drill the rivets out of the clamp and move it down and re drill and rivet it back on . Wouldn't you think that this stuff would fit straight up ?
    Cheers Ross

I use the same double-jerry can holder, and agree, it wasn't as good a fit as other ARB stuff I have installed.

I don't use ARB cans though, I bought some poly jerry cans from Opposite Lock (Dolium brand), and they are excellent, and fit fine without needing to adjust the holder strap. I use these for water when we go camping. Added bonus is they have a tap built in for easy pouring when full.
