    Yeah I thought over 5 watt needed a licence. I have a Motorola radio in the shed was out of a DSE vehicle I was told by the guy who sold it to me. Would this be uhf? how do I tell?

      Does it have a label on it with MHz bandwidth? Otherwise your might need to find someone who has the software and programming interface to have a look at it. Depending on how old it is it mightn't be worth the trouble.
      150 with stuff bolted on!
